Hillel Welcome Week and First Year Student Programming
Hillel at Miami University is the center of Jewish life on campus. This year, we are adding more social and cultural programs and Shabbat dinners to our schedule. This increases our expenses by 30%. Raising funds from supporters is the only way Hillel at Miami can provide these programs for our students.
Open Doors Fund
The Open Doors Fund helps Miami students access critical mental health and substance use treatment when financial barriers stand in the way. By providing assistance for counseling, psychiatric care, specialized treatment, and other related expenses, the fund helps students get the support they need to remain healthy, hopeful, and successful at Miami.
Language Resource Center FLOAT Fund
The Language Resource Center assists students by: 1) software acquisition of online language learning resources (Adobe Creative Suite software, independent learning software), textbooks for languages Miami can't provide instruction for, and self-paced learning software to supplement languages we teach; 2) virtual reality and augmented reality software in various foreign languages; and 3) various supplies and peripherals that directly enhance students' language acquisition and proficiency.
German Club
Funds raised will support the Miami University German Club in its mission to bring Miami students together and share their passion of the German language and culture.
Child Life Specialist Student Support
Help support Miami's growing child life programs and its students. Water Bottle Project

This year, we are once again distributing durable stainless steel water bottles made from 90% recycled materials, which offer longer-lasting use and improved sustainability benefits. Help support Miami University researchers who conduct LGBTQ+ related research. Currently, federal funding for LGBTQ+-related research and scholarship is difficult to come by, but we have fantastic doctoral students and early-career faculty at Miami who are doing critically important LGBTQ+-related work. Funds raised will support the research projects of those scholars.

Miami University Natural Areas and Trails
Miami University Natural Areas needs your help with a backlog of nature trail maintenance to protect natural resources, to improve the safety and enjoyment of our visitors, and to improve wildlife habitats. We are trying to raise $5,000 to cover expenses for some of the equipment, supplies, materials, and student labor to implement new bridges, signs, maps, water bars, and gravel trail repairs. In addition, funding will provide support for managing invasive plant species within the area.

The ReFuel Food Pantry provides emergency food and hygiene supplies to members of the Miami Regionals community. During the 2025-2026 academic year, we hosted 250 visits to the pantry. Miami Bound Programs
Miami Bound programs are early arrival programs that give new first year students the opportunity to build connections with peers, explore campus resources, and begin feeling at home on campus. Funds raised will be used to support individual students’ programs and housing fees.
Sigma Phi Epsilon
After more than four years away, the chapter is preparing to reoccupy its chapter house at 224 E. Church Street in Fall 2025. This return marks an exciting new chapter for a brotherhood that has recently experienced strong growth in leadership, recruitment, and campus impact. Your support will help ensure that the physical space reflects and strengthens the chapter’s continued momentum, well-being, and academic success.

Nutrition and Dietetics – Combined Masters and Dietetic Internship
Funds raised will be used for text resources, conference travel and RD exam study materials for dietetic interns in the combined masters and dietetic internship program.
Nutrition and Dietetics-Monday Monthly Meals
Monday Monthly Meals is a dine in or drive through meal program offered to all Miami University and local Oxford community members planned and served by Nutrition and Dietetic students. Monday Meals is estimated to be $15/person/meal.
Nutrition and Dietetics- Lunch and Learn Program
Miami Nutrition and Dietetic students plan weekly nutrition education sessions that are offered through Lunch and Learn events. Participants can learn easy food preparation techniques, taste budget friendly recipes, pick up free cookbooks, and understand nutritional benefits of each recipe. Lunch and Learn is estimated to be $5/person/event.
Nutrition and Dietetics-Online Food Pantry Pick List Program
Our Online Food Pantry Pick List Program provides free food kits for any undergraduate or graduate Miami University student. Students can choose shelf-stable foods to create nutritious meals. Online Pantry is estimated to be $25/person/food kit.
Miller Center for Student Disability Services
Support disabled students at Miami by helping us create a more inclusive campus through programming, community-building, and accessibility initiatives that go beyond accommodations.

Transform shadowing hours into standout stories — Learn how to reflect on your experiences and write with purpose for med school admissions and health career applications. Donations will help us to develop and expand a workshop for pre-health students. Jack Keegan Wine Class
BIO/BOT 244 is one of the most popular and iconic courses at Miami University, educating thousands of students through the science, horticulture, and global history of grapevines and wine. The course’s hands-on lab component, which includes supervised and structured wine tastings, creates a unique experiential learning opportunity for students. Donations will help purchase classroom and lab supplies and underwrite course-related costs to ensure future students continue to benefit from this distinctive Miami experience.
NPHC Book Scholarship
The NPHC Book Scholarship is intended for non-affiliated students to have the opportunity to have some of their financial barriers alleviated through our council's support. Donations will help us establish academic support to students that need it most.

The Rakan "Rick" & Laila Shteiwi Scholarship in Entrepreneurship is intended for a student who is co-majoring in entrepreneurship within the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. Appalachian Studies at Miami University Regionals preserves and celebrates the rich culture, history, music, and stories of Appalachia while fostering a deeper understanding of the region's lasting impact on our communities. Through free public lectures, performances, discussions, and cultural events, the program brings Appalachian voices and experiences to life for students, families, and community members throughout the Miami Valley.
Student Counseling Service – Suicide Prevention
The Suicide Prevention Team hopes to expand our reach to ensure that all of the campus community is aware of our efforts. Donations would help us improve our marketing and enhance our initiatives, such as the Suicide Prevention Walk.
AM Hub
Support the AM Hub in bringing Ameca, the world’s most advanced lifelike humanoid robot, to Miami University Regionals. Ameca will create a powerful “wow factor” for prospective students, helping them see the future of advanced manufacturing, robotics, automation, and human-robot interaction firsthand. This mobile recruitment tool can travel with Admissions to schools, community events, and industry showcases, inspiring students to pursue high-demand careers in engineering technology and advanced manufacturing.
Hip Hop Crew
The Miami University Hip Hop Crew is a student-run organization dedicated to providing dancers with opportunities to train, perform, and grow. Donations help cover performance uniforms, master classes with professional choreographers, rehearsal space rentals, and other team expenses, allowing us to continue sharing our passion for dance and representing Miami University on campus.
Fantastic Free Fridays
The Fantastic Free Fridays program at Miami University Regionals' Middletown campus is intended to provide free opportunities for students in area schools and residents of local communities to enjoy live performances.
Creative Research in Engagement, Aging, Therapeutics, and Enrichment Seed Grant Program
Support small "seed" grants for teams of faculty and students from colleges and disciplines across the university to explore how creative practice and design can improve memory, cognition, independence, social connection, and quality of life among older adults.
The Miami Student Fund
We provide quality reporting to the Miami and Oxford communities. Donations will help us send reporters to conferences and events as well as expand reporting for the benefit of the student body.
Center for Neuroscience and Behavior
Neuroscience Day brings Ohio Miami Valley neuroscience researchers together for a one-day conference. Donations will help fund this exciting event, which is coming to campus in May 2027.
Project Insight: Building Emotional Intelligence
We are hoping to expand an incentive-based small group setting that helps students learn how to effectively communicate, manage their boundaries, and develop soft-skills required to be successful in the workforce and beyond. Donations will help us provide food for group work to help combat student hunger and incentive prizes that will encourage participation while also promoting wellness (like yoga mats, noise-cancelling headphones, water bottles, etc.).
Decoding Heart Disease and Cancer
We are fundraising for an integrated genomics technology (AVITI24) to accelerate two translational research projects; (1) the causal mechanisms of heart disease, and (2) the microbiome (gut bacteria) influence on colon cancer.
John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship
The John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship empowers students from every discipline to become founders, innovators, and entrepreneurial leaders. Camp Kesem at Miami
Help us to provide year-round support and a free week of summer camp to children (ages 6-18) who have been impacted by a guardian's cancer diagnosis. Donations will allow us to reach our goal of supporting 50 children in and around southern Ohio.
