What is #MoveInMiami?

#MoveInMiami is Miami University's annual day of giving. When the first-year class moves in, Miamians help welcome them through a gift to any area of Miami they wish to support. This year, the goal is to reach 2,025 gifts in 20 hours and 25 minutes in honor of the class of 2025 - Miami's largest incoming class ever!

How do I make a gift to #MoveInMiami?

Make a gift:

  • Online with a credit card, click the “Give now” button below;
  • By phone, call 513-529-5229;
  • By check, remit to Miami University Foundation, 725 E. Chestnut St., Oxford, OH 45056.

Can I make a gift before Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021?

Yes! Please call 513-529-5229 to make your gift over the phone or visit our #MoveInMiami online giving page. We'll be sure to count it in our totals!

How can I make my contribution go even further?

Thousands of companies match gifts to higher education institutions, which can double or triple the impact of your contribution. To find out if your employer has a matching gift program, please visit our matching gift page.

Is there a minimum donation amount?

There is no minimum donation amount. Any amount counts – it’s all about participation! Help us reach 2,025 gifts in honor of the Class of 2025.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

Yes. Your gift is irrevocable and tax-deductible as prescribed by law. You will receive an email confirmation that will serve as your receipt for tax purposes.

Are there other ways I can help?
