What is #MoveInMiami?

#MoveInMiami is Miami University's annual day of giving. When the first-year class moves in, Miamians help welcome them through a gift to any area of Miami they wish to support. This year, the goal is to reach 2,023 donations in 20 hours and 23 minutes in honor of the Class of 2023.

How do I make a gift on #MoveInMiami?

There are many different ways to make a gift on #MoveInMiami. To make a donation online with a credit card, visit and click “Give now.” To make a gift by phone, call 513-529-5229. To make a gift by check, remit to Miami University Foundation, 725 E. Chestnut St., Oxford, OH 45056. You can also make a gift by cash or check by stopping in to the Panuska Development Center, 725 E. Chestnut St., Oxford, OH 45056.

Can I make a gift before Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019?

Yes! Please call 513-529-5229 to make your gift over the phone or visit our online giving page. Note that your gift is for #MoveInMiami, and we'll be sure to count it in our totals!

How can I make my contribution go even further?

Thousands of companies match gifts to higher education institutions, which can double or triple the impact of your contribution. To find out if your employer has a matching gift program, please visit our matching gift page.

Is there a minimum donation amount?

There is no minimum donation amount. Any amount counts – it’s all about participation! Help us reach 2,023 gifts in honor of the Class of 2023.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

Yes. Your gift is irrevocable and tax-deductible as prescribed by law. You will receive an email confirmation that will serve as your receipt for tax purposes.

Are there other ways I can help?
